Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech

Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, the first day of 10 day of Morocco tour, you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the vibrant Jemaa el-Fnaa square, where snake charmers, storytellers, and street food vendors create a lively atmosphere. You can also take this time to relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.

Day 2: Guided Tour of Marrakech Medina

After breakfast, a local guide will take you on a tour of Marrakech’s historical medina. You will visit iconic landmarks such as the Koutoubia Mosque, the Saadian Tombs, and the exquisite Bahia Palace. The tour continues through the labyrinthine alleyways of the souks, where artisans sell handmade goods, spices, and textiles. You will also explore the stunning Ben Youssef Madrasa and experience the dynamic energy of Jemaa el-Fnaa square before returning to your accommodation for the night.

Day 3: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

Departing early, you will travel through the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Along the way, you will stop at the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, an ancient fortress that has served as the backdrop for many films. After exploring the kasbah, the journey continues to Ouarzazate, where you can visit the Atlas Film Studios if interested. Driving through the lush Skoura Oasis and the fragrant Valley of Roses, you will arrive in the breathtaking Dades Valley, where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

Today, you will travel through the rugged landscapes of the Dades Valley, stopping to admire the striking rock formations before heading towards Todra Gorges. Here, you can take a short walk through the towering canyon walls. Continuing the journey, you will arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. In the late afternoon, you will embark on a camel trek into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, witnessing a magical sunset before reaching your desert camp. The evening will be spent around a campfire under a star-filled sky, with traditional Berber music and a delicious dinner.

Day 5: Exploring the Sahara Desert

You have the option to wake up early for a breathtaking sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, the day will be dedicated to exploring the desert region. You will visit a nomadic family, the Khamlia village—known for its unique Gnawa music—and the surrounding black desert. If you wish, you can try sandboarding or take a 4×4 excursion through the dunes. You can choose to spend another night in the desert camp or stay in a comfortable hotel in Merzouga.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Cedar Forest – Fes

Leaving the desert behind, you will travel through the lush Ziz Valley, known for its vast palm groves. The route continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the towns of Errachidia and Midelt. A stop will be made at the Cedar Forest near Azrou, where you can see the playful Barbary macaques. By evening, you will arrive in Fes, Morocco’s spiritual and cultural capital, where you will settle in for the night.

Day 7: Fes Guided Tour – Chefchaouen

The morning begins with a guided tour of Fes, one of Morocco’s oldest and most fascinating cities. You will explore the historic medina, visiting sites such as Al-Qarawiyyin University, Bou Inania Madrasa, and the impressive Royal Palace. The Chouara Tannery offers a unique glimpse into traditional leather production. In the afternoon, you will drive to the picturesque blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Upon arrival, you can take a leisurely walk through its charming streets before settling in for the night.

Day 8: Chefchaouen – Casablanca

After a relaxed morning in Chefchaouen, enjoying its peaceful ambiance and photogenic blue alleyways, you will embark on a journey to Casablanca. The drive takes you through scenic mountain roads before reaching Morocco’s largest city. The evening is free for you to explore the city’s vibrant Corniche area or unwind at your hotel.

Day 9: Hassan II Mosque – Drive to Marrakech

In the morning, you will visit the grand Hassan II Mosque, an architectural masterpiece that sits on the Atlantic coastline. Following the visit, you will begin the return journey to Marrakech, a drive of approximately three and a half hours. Upon arrival, you will have free time to visit the Majorelle Garden or do some last-minute shopping in the medina. Your final night in Morocco will be spent in the lively atmosphere of Marrakech.

Day 10: Departure from Marrakech

On your last day, you will be transferred to Marrakech Menara Airport in time for your flight home. With unforgettable memories of Morocco’s diverse landscapes, rich history, and vibrant culture, your journey comes to an end.
