Morocco desert trip

In this Morocco desert trip you will explore the morocco authentic area and discover a real morocco culture, you visit the moroccan imperial cities, and discover south morocco and desert, this Moroccan authentic trip ends at Marrakech.

1st day:

White House:

Upon your arrival in Casablanca, the economic capital of Morocco, our team will meet and arrange your transfer to your Casablanca hotel. You will register and relax in the afternoon. Depending on the time, you can choose to make an optional visit to the Hassan II Mosque, or take a walk through the Medina and Mohammed V Square. It depends on your preference or choice. We suggest and allow you to choose what you want.

2nd day:

Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Fez:

Your breakfast is the first and important thing for us, we will go to Fez. On the way to it you will have a stop in Rabat, the capital city and mostely resided by the King. In Rabat, we stop for lunch and enjoy the beautiful coastal city. Right after lunch and at some point of enjoyment, it will remain in Fez, the spiritual / scientific capital of Morocco. Again, spend the night in a hotel / Riad.

3rd day:

Let’s explore what Fez is:

After breakfast, the team begins its journey from the old medina. It is one of the largest walled cities in the world. Our team will help you explore the narrow streets lined with fresh fruits, spice mounds, intricately woven Berber carpets and many other Moroccan art objects. The visit to the King’s Palace, the tanneries and potters are just some of the places you will see and where you can go. For lunch, you will eat at a traditional restaurant in the heart of the medina. After lunch, you will complete the tour and return to your hotel / riad in the afternoon and relax and get ready for the next day.

4th day:

From Fez through Beni Mellal to Marrakech:

Breakfast is the first and the second we pick it up and cross the mountainous landscape of the Middle Atlas through Ifrane, an old tourist complex. Then, we get to lunch in Beni Mellal / Ait Mellal, city. The city has become a great agricultural center. In the afternoon we continue to Afourar, a lake Bin El Ouidane and a majestic site nearby in the plain cereal of Tadla. We have a stop for photos, then departure to Marrakech, the imperial city and the capital of the south.
** There is an opportunity to attend an evening with oriental dance show and Moroccan specialties dinner in a palace in the medina.

5th day:

Marrakech:

Your breakfast is very appreciated and the first thing. This day will be a guided tour of Marrakech, According to the UNESCO the red city is one of the world heritage, the pearl of southern Morocco. You will discover the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs and many other historically hidden treasures. After lunch, continue the journey to the magnificent Koutoubia Mosque and the famous Djemaa el-Fna square. It is one of the spectacular attractions of Marrakech. The tour will conclude with an exploration of the souk (market) full of spice mounds, intricately woven Berber carpets, ceramics, handmade leather goods and food stalls.

6th day:

From Marrakech through Ouarzazate to Zagora:

Breakfast precedes everything! In the morning, we will drive through the pass of the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the highest Moroccan pass, the Tizi-n-Tichka (2,260 m). Then we go to Ouarzazate. On the way, we chose to stop at Ait Benhaddou, a popular well-preserved kasbah that appears in several films. Then you will travel through lush palm groves and oases of the Draa Valley. Finally you arrive in Zagora early in the afternoon. You should see the old library in Tamegroute, the oldest in Africa. It contains texts as old as the thirteenth century. You should discover Zagora. It is the place where artisans make ceramics with a natural green dye of henna.

7th day:

From Zagora through Alnif and Errisani to Erg Chebbi (desert):

Breakfast must be taken first. Driving towards Errisani, you will travel through the rocky landscape of “regs”, tables and tables that will undoubtedly resemble the regions of the southwestern United States. Then, immediately go to the dunes of Merzouga. This is the entrance to the desert where you will find your camel guide waiting to take you through the sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. When the sun sets behind the desert land, the camels walk through the desert for almost 1.45 hours and reach the desert camp where they will spend the night. Here you can enjoy a delicious tajín dinner together with Berber music. A wonderful night is waiting for you there!

8th day:

Merzouga through Todra Gorge to Ouarzazate:

After breakfast, we went on a tour to Ouarzazate to see the 17th century taourirt kasbah. This has been one of Pasha Glaoui’s houses. During your travels through the Sahara desert in Morocco, you will travel through the largest film production center in Morocco. In addition, you can take an alternative route to visit Ait Benhaddou. This wonderful kasbah is shot in many movies. From there, you must cross the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass. It is considered the highest Moroccan pass at 2,260 m altitude. You will enjoy the spectacular views of the mountains and valleys while traveling to Marrakech, arriving at the hotel / riad during dinner and resting there.

9th day:

From Ouarzazate through Telouet to Marrakech:

Finally we come to an end of your journey. It depends on your flight time and personal schedule. If you have a delayed flight you can visit the monuments of Marrakech and then we will take you to the airport

10th day:

Departure Marrakech:

Today is the day of farewell. It depends on the time of your flight, the transfer to the airport and assistance for your flight back to the airport. Let’s not forget to wish you a safe trip to return home.
