DAY 1: TANGIER To CHEFCHAOUEN:
Start your 5 day desert tour itinerary from Tangier. Your journey begins with your driver meeting you in Tangier airport ,Port Med or your Hotel . We’ll head to Chefchaouen, famed for its blue and white buildings. Explore the culinary delights and vibrant streets of this enchanting town before settling into your hotel/riad for the night.
DAY 2 : CHEFCHAOUEN TO VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES
Experience the refreshing morning breeze in Chefchaouen before journeying to the archaeological marvels of Volubilis. These ruins showcase Morocco’s rich history and diverse cultural influences. Next, explore the imperial city of Meknes, once the seat of Moroccan sultanate Moulay Ismail, and be enchanted by its historical charm. DAY 3 : FES – IFRANE – ZIZ VALLEY – SAHARA DESERT
Today we have a full day through the diverse landscapes that make our ,5 days from Tanger so unique, and enjoyable. Pass through the cedar and pine forests, keeping an eye out for Barbary Monkeys. Pass over the Middle Atlas Mountains ( Tizi N Talghomt) through the pre-dessert countryside with its deep gorges filled with a splendid oasis of green palm groves ( Ziz Valley) , finally arriving at the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert, camel ride. We spend the night in a desert camp.
DAY 4 : SAHARA DESERT – TODRA GORGES – OUARZAZATE
We’ll start our journey to Ouarzazate via Rissani, the birthplace of the Alawi dynasty, renowned for its vibrant souk and historic kasbahs. Afterward, we’ll head towards the Todra Gorges for lunch, followed by a scenic drive through the picturesque Dades Valley and Rose Valley. As evening approaches, we’ll reach Ouarzazate, where we’ll savor a delightful dinner and unwind in a comfortable Riad for the night.
DAY 5 : OUARZAZATE – AIT BEN HADDOU – MARRAKECH
Before heading to Marrakech, we’ll explore the Taourirt Kasbah, Cinema Atlas Studio, and the historic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, renowned for its role in iconic Hollywood films like Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.
