1st Day:
From Marrakech via Ouzoud waterfalls to Beni Mellal:
Embark on a mesmerizing 7-day journey through the Atlas and Imperial cities. Begin your day with a delightful breakfast before we set off towards Beni Mellal. Along the way, we’ll make a stop at the breathtaking Ouzoud waterfalls, allowing you to capture stunning pictures. Our adventure continues as we reach Beni Mellal, a city steeped in history dating back to the reign of Mawlay Ismail in 1688. Here, we’ll explore the enchanting Kasba “Bel-Kush” and the magnificent Kasbah “Ras el Ain,” marking the end of our eventful first day. Enjoy a restful night in a comfortable hotel, rejuvenating for the days ahead.
2nd Day:
From Beni Mellal to Fes:
The Morocco imperial cities Tour on This second day starts after taking breakfast and driving towards Fes, through the Medium Atlas Mountains passing Ifrane and Azrou. There you can visit the Barbary monkeys that live freely in the gorgeous cedar forest. We plan to have a stop for lunch, and then continue to Fes and overnight in a Riad or at Hotel.
3rd Day:
let’s explore Fes city!
After a luxurious breakfast in your Riad, we can start our journey exploring Fez. We will visit the main monuments of the city starting at the Royal Palace gate, the Jewish headquarters of the first Mellah built in Morocco during the 16th century. Afterward, we pay a visit to all sites with cultural and historical interest. For example, the famous Al Qaraouine University is the oldest university in Morocco, and the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss Zarhoun mausoleum. Upon having lunch, you pay a visit to the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Then, you will have free time to enjoy the city, overnight in a Riad or Hotel.
4th Day:
From Fes via Volubilis and Meknes to Rabat:
– After breakfast in Fez, we drive to the Atlantic Coast visiting Volubilis a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the roman remains. Then, we continue to explore Meknes, another imperial city. And we visit its main monuments: square Hédim. From here you can admire the most beautiful gate of Morocco: the Bab el Mansour Aleuj. you can contemplate the Dar Jamai Palace, the former residence of the vizier, typical of the upper middle class of the nineteenth century. Moreover, you will have the chance to visit the Médersa Bou Inania. Indeed, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail is one of the few Moroccan mosques open to non-Muslims and religious tolerance. We have a stop for lunch and continue to Rabat the administrative capital of Morocco.
5th Day:
from Rabat via Casablanca to Marrakeche:
On the fifth day of the Morocco imperial cities Tour, we pass by the Atlantic Coast to Casablanca; the economic capital of Morocco. And we pay a visit to the main monuments: Hassan II mosque, old Medina, and Port of Casablanca. Finally, we stop for lunch and drive back to Marrakech.
6th Day:
Exploring Marrakech:
According to UNESCO, Marrakech is categorized as a World Heritage site. It is left for the sixth and last day of the tour where you have free time, out of schedule, to visit so much as you like the city by roaming in several monuments and markets.
