DAY 1 : Casablanca --- Chefchaouen

Start your 5-day Morocco itinerary with a warm reception at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport or your hotel. A friendly local guide will greet you and assist with the start of your journey.

Your adventure begins with a drive to Chefchaouen, a stunning town in northern Morocco, set against the scenic Rif Mountains.

Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, check in at your charming hotel or riad, then enjoy some free time to explore. Known for its iconic blue-painted streets and buildings, Chefchaouen offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Wander through its narrow alleys, visit vibrant markets, or unwind at a cozy café or restaurant serving traditional Moroccan dishes.

DAY 2: Chefchaouen --- Fes

your day will be starting  with a satisfying breakfast at your hotel or riad to prepare for the journey ahead to Fes.

Upon arriving in Fes, a friendly and knowledgeable local guide will be ready to meet you. They’ll take you through the highlights of this historic city, sharing its rich heritage and pointing out its stunning architecture. Stroll through the ancient streets and soak in the vibrant atmosphere. For lunch, you can opt to dine in the bustling Medina, where the aromas and flavors of traditional Moroccan cuisine come to life.

After a day of sightseeing, unwind at a charming riad nestled in the heart of Fes Medina. This serene retreat offers a quiet haven amidst the lively surroundings. Relax and take in the beauty of the city as you settle into your accommodations for the evening.

Day 3: Fes --- Ifrane --- Midelt --- Merzouga desert

After having breakfast, we head south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, a city known for its cool temperatures, snowfall, and charming alpine-style houses. Because of its unique atmosphere, it’s often referred to as the Switzerland of Morocco. From there, we move on to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. You can feed the monkeys and explore the peaceful surroundings of the forest.

Next, we make our way to Midelt, where you’ll have some free time to enjoy lunch. The journey then continues toward Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops along the way to take in breathtaking views.

By afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara Desert in Merzouga. Here, you’ll trade the car for a camel ride to traverse the golden sand dunes. Along the way, there’s a stop at a high dune to watch the stunning desert sunset. Afterward, we make our way to the desert camp, which blends traditional nomadic tents with modern comforts.

At the camp, enjoy an evening of Berber drum music and dancing around the campfire under a starry sky. Dinner will be served, and you’ll spend the night in the camp.

Day 4: Merzouga --- Rissani --- Erfoud --- Todra Gorges --- Dades Valley

During the drive, you’ll have opportunities to stop at unique sites. If it’s a market day (Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday), you can visit the lively traditional market in Rissani. Later, take a refreshing walk through the Todra Gorge, where you’ll be surrounded by impressive cliffs and the serene flow of the Todra River.

As you approach Dades Valley, marvel at the unusual rock formations known as “monkey fingers.” The scenic drive through the valley offers incredible views of its rugged beauty. At the end of the day, you’ll arrive at your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy a peaceful night.

Day 5: Dades Valley --- Ourzazate --- Ait Ben Haddou --- Marrakech
